(D3) Washington University St Louis
- June 4th, 2014—Washington University in St. Louis Provost Holden Thorp announced that Josh Whitman has been named the Director of Athletics. Whitman replaces veteran AD John Schael, who announced his retirement in January following 36 years of leading the Washington U. Department of Athletics. Whitman arrives on the Danforth Campus after spending the last four years as Director of Athletics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

(JC) Shoreline Community College
- June 3rd, 2014—Sources tell College AD, Shoreline has removed the interim title for athletic director Steve Eskridge. He will be the permanent athletic director at Shoreline.
(D1) Boston University
- June 2nd, 2014—Boston University athletic director Mike Lynch will leave his position as of June 30, according to a message he posted on the school’s athletics website. “I have come to the conclusion that it is time to move on and blaze a new path in my career,” he wrote. Lynch has been athletic director since 2004. During his tenure, Boston University won a national championship in men’s hockey (2009), but also made headlines when two players were charged with sexual assault and a subsequent task force report called for more oversight on the program.

- June 2nd, 2014—The three finalists for the position of Clayton State University Athletic Director will be making presentations on “The Vision for Clayton State University Athletics” over the course of the first two weeks in June. - Thursday, June 5 – 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Gareth O’Sullivan- Interim Director of Athletics/Women’s Head Soccer Coach Clayton State
- Monday, June 9 – 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tim Duncan- Director of Athletics, Paine College
- Tuesday, June 10 – 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. Rick Goeb-former athletic director at Bemidji (Minn.) State University
(D1) George Mason University
- June 2nd, 2014—George Mason University President Ángel Cabrera announced today that Brad Edwards will become the university’s next athletic director. The former Washington Redskin will become the fifth athletic director in George Mason’s history. Edwards, who has served as athletic director at Jacksonville University since 2012, replaces Tom O’Connor, who announced his retirement in March after 20 years with the Patriots and 40 years in NCAA Division I athletics. He will be introduced during a news conference on June 9 and will officially start work July 1, 2014.

- June 2nd, 2014—Shoreline has named Steve Eskridge interim athletic director
(NAIA) Doane College
- June 2nd, 2014—Doane College is now taking applications for Director of Athletics. Doane College is a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), as a part of the NAIA supporting 21 sports. Apply here. Check out the latest Tredwell Report as well!

(JC) Eastern Wyoming College
- May 31st, 2014—Eastern Wyoming College has announced that David Vondy has been hired as the new director of athletics and fitness center. Vondy will start at EWC on July 1, 2014.Vondy comes to EWC from Western State Colorado University where he served as the Assistant Athletic Director.
(D2) Post University
- May 31st, 2014—Sources tell College AD that final interviews occurred yesterday, and that last of the final interviews will be Monday. We are told a candidate will be selected next week.
(JC) Solano College
- May 31st, 2014—Sources tell College AD, Solano College has indeed selected their candidate for athletic director. An announcement should be forthcoming. The position will officially begin July 1st.
(JC) Anna Maria College
- May 31st, 2014—Anna Maria College hired Laura Habacker, the women’s basketball coach and assistant athletic director at Elms College in Chicopee, as its next athletic director.
Habacker will start July 1 and she will be the fifth administrator to serve in this position since the college’s athletic programs began in 1977.

- May 30th, 2014—Sources tell College AD that the search committee has completed all interviews and will recommend a candidate to the school’s president next week. The new athletic director will begin July 1st.
