Kayla Oxenrider has joined the Austin Peay State University women’s basketball coaching staff, head coach David Midlick announced . Oxenrider, a native of Ashland, Pennsylvania, joins the Austin Peay women’s basketball program after one season as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at St. Francis University. She assisted with recruiting, scouting and coordinating summer camps at the beginning of her tenure before being promoted to the recruiting coordinator in April. Twice a second-team all-conference selection, Oxenrider helped lead Bloomsburg to NCAA Division II tournament appearances in both 2011-12 and 2012-13 – the program’s first NCAA appearances since 2000-01.
