Former University of West Florida women’s basketball student-athlete Tessah Holt has accepted an assistant coach position at Austin Peay State University, it was announced earlier this month. Prior to accepting the new position, Holt was the graduate assistant coach at UWF during the 2014-15 season where the Argonauts posted a 20-9 record and reached the Division II South Regional Semifinals. Holt played for West Florida during the 2013-14 season, and was an important member of the first UWF women’s basketball team to win a Gulf South Conference Tournament Championship in program history.
