Alcorn State University has a new Women’s Basketball Coach. Derek Horne, Alcorn’s Director of Athletics, announced Courtney G. Pruitt, will be taking on the position as the coach of the Lady Braves. In her first season as head coach at Wiley College, she turned the program around from an 8-21 record to a 20-9 record and led the team to its first conference tournament in three years. – Erin Burt, WJTV.com.
