Incarnate Word has hired Brian Wickstrom, a veteran college administrator known for his fundraising skills, to head its burgeoning athletic department. Wickstrom, who has spent the past four years as Louisiana-Monroe athletic director, will be introduced as UIW’s new AD at a 10:30 a.m. news conference today at Benson Field House. Wickstrom has secured more than $91 million in commitments during his 20 years in collegiate athletics, UIW said.
