Director of Athletics Abe Naff has announced the hiring of Curtis Peery as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Ferrum College. Peery comes to Ferrum from Roanoke College, where he served the past two years in the same role. Peery was a standout for Roanoke as a player, closing his career in 2009 in the #11 spot in school history in scoring with 1,349 career points. He also finished 13th in career rebounds with 649 and 12th in career free throws made with 304. Roanoke was a combined 68-39 during his four-year playing career. Peery graduated from Roanoke with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2009, then went on to earn his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology from Maryland Eastern Shore in 2011.
