The Fayetteville State University department of athletics along with head men’s basketball coach Ken Spencer welcome aboard DeShawn McCain to the coaching staff. McCain will serve as the men’s basketball assistant coach. McCain will assist in the duties and responsibilities of recruiting, player development, scouting, practicing planning, defensive coordinator, and game management. McCain began his coaching career as the head junior varsity boys’ coach and assistant varsity coach at Belpre High School in Belpre, Ohio.
