William Jewel College associate director of athletics Lucas Morgan has been hired as athletic director of LSUS, according to Chancellor Larry Clark. The announcement was made in front of a small gathering at The Dock on Tuesday afternoon. Morgan replaces Chad McDowell, who resigned recently to become superintendent of Calvary Baptist Academy. “Mr. Morgan understands the role and importance of the student-athlete,” Clark said. “His leadership style will set a great example for our coaches and student athletes. I expect that his enthusiasm will be contagious in our efforts to build stronger support for or LSUS Pilots teams and athletes.” -Jimmy Watson, shreveporttimes.com– Read More
