Newberry College head men’s basketball coach Dave Davis has announced the addition of Jay Reid to the staff as an assistant coach. Reid comes to Newberry after a season at USC Salkehatchie, where he served as associate head coach for one of the youngest coaching staffs in the nation at any collegiate level. He helped direct an offense that averaged 85 points per game and produced an NJCAA All-American, Raheem Freeman, who averaged 22 points per game while shooting 33% from three-point range. Read More.
