West Virginia State men’s basketball coach Bryan Poore, already the program’s career leader in wins, will get a couple more years to extend that lead. WVSU agreed in January to extend Poore’s contract to the 2021-22 academic year. He had four years left on his previous deal. The extended contract will pay him $76,695.26 annually, according to a copy of the deal WVSU provided to the Gazette-Mail. That includes an ongoing appointment to the College of Professional Studies, where he is an instructor. – Derek Redd, wvgazettemail. Read More.
