USF has hired Kyley Simmons as women’s basketball assistant coach, the school announced Thursday. Simmons is a former Division I athlete, having played in the Big 12, Southeastern Conference and Big Ten for Missouri and Illinois. She completed her final collegiate season this spring, averaging 12.3 points per game for the Fighting Illini.
