Life is moving at a fast pace for Jacksonville University Athletic Director Alex Ricker-Gilbert. He wouldn’t want it any other way. A month ago, former Chief Athletics Officer Donnie Horner, who led the athletic department from 2014 until May 1, 2016, stepped down to focus on teaching. Ricker-Gilbert has been at JU for nearly two years, having first been appointed associate athletic director of compliance and student-athlete services in November 2014. He was named senior associate director early this year before taking over JU’s 20-sport athletic program. -Jeff Elliott, jacksonville.com– Read More
