On Tuesday Montana State University hired its second athletic director in as many weeks. The University released a statement that Utah’s Kyle Brennan, who had previously accepted the job, was backing out leaving MSU back-pedaling. President Waded Cruzado and Montana State officials wasted little time in hiring South Dakota State’s Leon Costello, another finalist who was considered by many the runner-up for the job. “Beyond words,” Costello said of his excitement. “I think being on campus and having the ability to bring my wife, it’s one of those things where we could see ourselves in Bozeman and at Montana State. With everything going on under the leadership of President Cruzado and the team that she has, and getting to meet the coaches and athletics staff, plus the community members – the foundation is there for great things. We couldn’t be more excited to come in and get our feet wet and hit the ground running.” –KTVH, Read More
