Former Trinity girls basketball coach Ed Stritzel is returning to the sidelines. Stritzel, who resigned after nine seasons at Trinity on Nov. 30, has agreed to become the head girls basketball coach at Nazareth. After meeting with his new team on Wednesday, May 4, Stritzel expressed happiness with his return to the coaching ranks. “My family is thrilled,” Stritzel said. “This is a wonderful opportunity for myself and my family. We’re really excited about that. We’re thankful a lot of job opportunities came open to me recently, but Nazareth was the best fit for me and my family. I love the support, and the administration has been great from the moment I met them a couple of weeks ago, from the president to the athletic director to the principal. -Bob Narang, Chicago Tribune– Read More
