Delaware has been without a full-time AD since Eric Ziady’s December departure. Sport management professor Matt Robinson has handled the job on an interim basis since — quite well, many UD coaches say — and hopes to be considered for the permanent post, he has said. That will all come after Parker Executive Search provides Delaware with a list of qualified candidates that are narrowed down to “three or four finalists,” Brangman said, by an executive group from the selection committee. The selection committee, which will be comprised of as many as 14 people and include professors, student-athletes, administrators, alumni, coaches and trustees, will then decide on Delaware’s next AD. We’re looking to wrap up the search by the first or second week of May and then to have an announcement by the second or third week of May,” said Brangman, who later transferred from UNH to Cornell, where he was on the track and field team. -Kevin Tresolini, The News Journal, Read More
