After three seasons, Greg Holzhueter thought he was about midway through a rebuilding project as the men’s basketball coach at Bethany Lutheran. On Wednesday, however, he was told he would be terminated. “I spent three years as the head coach of the program, and I put a lot of hard work and effort to building the program back to what it was,” Holzhueter said. “It’s really disappointing that I won’t be able to see the process through.” Holzhueter’s record was 23-52, 20-24 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference games. Last season, the Vikings were 10-15, 8-8 in UMAC, with an 18-player roster that included 15 sophomores and freshman. -Chad Courrier, mankatofreepress.com- Read More
