Former Texas A&M athletics director Eric Hyman will take over as chief operations officer on an interm basis at Auburn, a source familiar with the situation tells AL.com. Hyman takes over for David Benedict, who left Auburn to become the University of Connecticut’s athletics director Monday. It’s not known if Hyman will stay on in a full-time role with the athletics department. Hyman helped the Aggies transition from the Big 12 into the SEC in the summer of 2012. – Brandon Marcello, al.com– Read More
