The Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees voted unanimously 7-0 Wednesday to reinstate women’s basketball at the college for the first time in 24 years. Scott Noble, the college’s athletics director, said earlier this month LCCC hasn’t had a women’s basketball team since 1992, when the college dropped its entire athletic program after an economic downturn. Noble said the college began bringing the athletic program back in 2002. “For whatever reason, they did not elect to bring women’s basketball back,” he said. -Kristine Galloway, Wyoming Tribune Eagle– Read More
