As the University of Northern Iowa is still without an athletic director, the school’s interim athletic director will be leaving UNI as well. Jean Berger will become the executive director of the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Berger will start her new role at the IGHSAU in the summer. At UNI, Berger was the direct supervisor of 5 sports including women’s basketball and volleyball.
