Eric Ziady is stepping down as the University of Delaware’s athletic director, effective Dec. 31, UD announced Monday. Ziady, UD athletic director since October of 2012, will leave the university to seek other opportunities. Speculation had been strong that Ziady’s tenure may be in jeopardy after acting UD president Nancy Targett commissioned a survey of athletics personnel by Collegiate Sports Associates.
