College president Dr. Steven R. DiSalvo announced today that Daron Montgomery has been selected as the new Director of Athletics at Saint Anselm College. He will report directly to President DiSalvo and will sit as a member of his cabinet. “I am very pleased to have Daron Montgomery join Saint Anselm at the forefront of Hawks Athletics.” Dr. DiSalvo said. “There are new horizons and challenges ahead of us that require strong leadership. I have every confidence that he can provide that, bringing with him extensive experience in several NCAA divisions, a commitment to academic quality for student-athletes, and a track record of success not only in athletics administration, but in coaching, fundraising and facilities development.” Montgomery has served as the Director of Athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point since 2011, and has 17 years of experience in the field of collegiate athletics.
