Sources tell College AD that UCF is expected to announce the Knights next athletic director on Wednesday or Thursday of this week. Final interviews were held yesterday in Chicago and sources inform us that Buffalo athletic director Danny White is the leading candidate to land the job. DeWayne Peevy, Kentucky’s deputy athletic director also interviewed and is the next candidate in line should things not work out with White. Nick Gryniewicz of ESPN 850 Orlando is also reporting that there is a “big possibility” White is offered the job.
