In his spare time during the past few years, University of Tulsa Athletic Director Derrick Gragg has been working on a book. “With something like this, you really have to do it on your own time,” Gragg said. “A lot of my own time was at 2, 3, 4 o’clock in the morning, getting up early before the kids got up, those types of things. … I have that motto, I don’t sleep. I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” The 200-page book, titled “40 Days of Direction: Life Lessons from the Talented Ten,” was released last week and is available on Amazon.com and Createspace.com.
