Steve Thomas joins the Spider basketball staff as its new Director of Basketball Operations in 2015-16. He will have a role in directing camps, coordinating team activities and facilitating all recruiting material. Thomas comes to Richmond from Virginia Tech where he served as Director of Student-Athlete Development. He worked for one year there after coming from Oregon as a graduate assistant on their basketball staff. He is a 2006 graduate of Rowan University in New Jersey with a degree in advertising and communications and earned a master’s degree from the University of Oregon in educational leadership in 2014.
