Head Coach Paula Buscher announced that Holly Spoo has been named an Assistant Coach for the SIUE Women’s Basketball Program. Spoo comes to SIUE after spending five years as the co-owner, director and founder of the Wisconsin Impact, a youth club basketball program for girls in grades 4-12. She was responsible for leading the growth of the program to 170 players on 17 teams as well a coaching staff of more than 20. Spoo earned a bachelor of science at Wisconsin Oshkosh in biology and secondary education in 1999 and a master’s in exercise science from Nebraska Omaha in 2003.
