Duquesne University’s department of athletics will tip off its 100th season of men’s basketball with a “Celebration of a Century” reception on Wednesday, October 21 at CONSOL Energy Center. The event, which will be held in The Lexus Club, will feature special guest speaker Norm Nixon as well as comments from incoming Director of Athletics Dave Harper and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Ferry. “We are looking forward to recognizing the great players and coaches who have contributed to the storied history of Duquesne basketball,” said Ferry. “We also plan to embrace the present and future by recognizing the 2015-16 team and introducing our new director of athletics, Dave Harper.”
