University of New Mexico women’s basketball broadcasts will have a different sound this season. Joe Behrend, the longtime play-by-play voice of Lobos radio broadcasts, will not return for 2015-16. His replacement has not yet been named. Behrend, who covered UNM women’s games for the past 10 seasons, said it was time for a change.
