Rutgers athletic director Julie Hermann addressed the football team after Monday’s practice and expressed support for coach Kyle Flood, according to a person familiar with the situation. Flood has come under fire after a string of off-field incidents in the past three weeks. The most recent incident was the indefinite suspension of star wide receiver Leonte Carroo for his role in an altercation that happened outside the team’s facility after Saturday’s loss to Washington State. Hermann has not addressed the media since the news of the university’s investigation into Flood broke on Aug. 25. Flood has said repeatedly that he feels he has the support of the university’s administration. – Dan Duggan, NJ.com, Read More
