Standing inside the new Sukup End Zone Club on Wednesday afternoon – surrounded by grain-bin bars, Iowa State murals and more flat-screen televisions than at a Best Buy store- Iowa State athletic director Jamie Pollard recounted the history of the project and what it means for the future of Cyclone sports. “This is a major, major step in putting us in a position that says we’ve got everything that anybody needs now to win,” Pollard said.  The $50 million project increases the stadium capacity from 56,800 to 61,000, making it the third-largest in the Big 12 behind stadiums housing Texas and Oklahoma. -Andy Hamilton, Des Moines Register, Read More
