Nearly as quickly as the Virginia Tech football team’s idea of fining players as a disciplinary measure came, it went. The Hokies created a brief firestorm Wednesday night by saying they were looking into fining players, possibly from their cost of attendance stipend, as a form of punishment for frequent misbehavior in a variety of areas.
