Sources reporting that Mark Jackson, Senior Associate Athletic Director at USC will become the Athletic Director at Villanova University. Villanova has announced a 2pm press conference. We are working on full confirmation.  Jackson’s responsibilities at USC include oversight of all capital projects (including the McKay Center, Uytengsu Aquatics Center and Heritage Hall) and the athletic department’s dealings with the Coliseum. He also oversees a number of sports (football, baseball, women’s lacrosse) and support services, including sports medicine, strength and conditioning, nutrition, security and equipment and apparel operations. He previously was USC’s director of football administration during Pete Carroll’s first 4 years (2001-04) at Troy, taking on the additional title of assistant athletic director in 2003. USC played in the 2001 Las Vegas Bowl, 2003 Orange Bowl, 2004 Rose Bowl and 2009 Emerald Bowl.
