Just 50 days after becoming the newest Nebraska men’s basketball assistant, Rashon Burno is an ex-Husker assistant. Burno has resigned to take a similar position at Arizona State, creating an avalanche of questions about why the 37-year-old left NU so soon and why he did it just five days before the critical July recruiting period begins. Burno, 36, is a Jersey City, New Jersey, native. He’s a latecomer to coaching, having spent his first five years out of DePaul as a financial planner at Morgan Stanley.
