Mike Leaf announced his resignation as Head Men’s Basketball Coach, effective June 30, according to Winona State University Athletics Director, Eric Schoh. Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Zach Malvik will take over management of the team until a national search can be conducted. Leaf has spent 28 seasons with the Warriors’ basketball program, the last 17 as head coach. During Leaf’s 17 seasons as head coach, the Warriors have had 16 winning seasons. – Hoop Dirt. Read more.
