After eight seasons as an assistant coach, Jimmy Reilly has been elevated to the role of associate men’s basketball head coach by Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame head men’s basketball coach Herb Magee. In the eight seasons Reilly has been on the bench, the Rams have an overall record of 176-73, appeared in six NCAA Division II East Region Tournaments—including a trip to the region final in 2010, and won four Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championships. Before Reilly came to Philadelphia University, he was an assistant coach at Neumann University from 2005 through 2007, an assistant coach for the boy’s varsity program and head coach of the JV squad at West Catholic High School for two seasons, and an assistant coach at Ursinus College for two years.
