UNIVERSITY OF DETROIT MERCY

Molly Bateman was recently announced as an addition to basketball head coach Bernard Scott’s staff at the University of Detroit Mercy. Bateman, a former assistant coach at Averett University, spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach with Mount Union College in Ohio. While there the Raiders made an appearance in the second round of the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament during the 2013-14 season. Under her guidance, Bateman saw 11 of her players pick up academic All-OAC honors. She also coached Annie Bova to an All-OAC women’s basketball team twice during her tenure. – GoDanRiver Staff.
