Renee Zernicke has been selected to join the Wisconsin women’s basketball program as the team’s strength and conditioning coach, head coach Bobbie Kelsey announced on Thursday. Zernicke will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Madison after serving a two-year stint at UC Davis. She joined the UC Davis staff as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in July of 2013 and exploded onto the scene. She worked primarily as the head of men and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, men’s soccer, men’s water polo and men’s and women’s tennis.
