Stonehill College has announced that Ryan Herrion has joined the men’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach under Chris Kraus ’06. Herrion comes to Stonehill after two years as Director of Operations for the men’s basketball program at the University of New Hampshire, from which he is a 2012 graduate and former Wildcats captain. Herrion, who is the son of UNH head coach Bill Herrion, handled all the day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball program, providing assistance with practice and game preparation and overseeing summer camps and annual fundraising events. Ryan Herrion assisted with a Wildcats team that posted a program-record 19 wins and its first postseason appearance in program history during the 2014-15 season.
