Prohm has tabbed his former Murray State assistant William Small to join him at ISU, according to multiple reports. ISU has not officially confirmed the hire. Small worked for Prohm for four seasons with the Racers after the two previously worked together under Billy Kennedy, now head coach at Texas A&M, at Southeastern. He also has stops at Western Kentucky, Troy, Tulane, Gerogia State and UTEP, among others, on his resume. He’s considered a strong recruiter that got Courtney lee, an eventual first-round NBA draft pick, to Western Kentucky, and Cameron Payne, an expected first-round pick later this month, to Murray State.  – Ames Trib.
