Armstrong State University head women’s basketball coach Fala Bullock today announced the hiring of Brad Childers as the Pirates’ assistant coach for the upcoming 2015-16 season. Childers joins Armstrong State from East Georgia State College, where he served as the head coach for the Bobcats. In three seasons at the helm of East Georgia State he helped the Bobcats improve from a 9-20 record in 2012-13 to a 15-14 mark in 2014-15 and led the team to a pair of NJCAA Region Tournament appearances.
