University of Vermont men’s basketball assistant coach Kyle Cieplicki, a Shelburne native, was promoted to associate head coach. Cieplicki, a UVM alum, begins his fifth season as a member of the men’s basketball coaching staff in 2015-16. Cieplicki began his coaching career as the team’s director of operations and was promoted to assistant coach in 2011. The Catamounts have finished either first or second in the league’s regular season standings during Cieplicki’s tenure. – Shelburne News.
