Jacie Hoyt-Capra is Kansas State’s newest women’s basketball assistant coach after serving as the team’s recruiting coordinator. She is a Hoxie native who played at Wichita State, was promoted to the position Thursday. Mittie hired Hoyt-Capra last year following a three-year stint as a Nevada assistant under former Wichita State coach Jane Albright. – Kellis Robinett, The Wichita Eagle.
