Post University announced on Monday that it has hired Ronnie Palmer as its new Director of Athletics. Palmer joins Post after spending eight years at his alma mater Davis & Elkins College, including five as athletic director. At Davis & Elkins, a Division II institution in Elkins W.Va., Palmer spearheaded the addition of both men’s and women’s lacrosse teams to bring the department total to 16 programs. He also oversaw the construction of a new soccer facility and softball field, and the renovation of Memorial Gym/Martin Fieldhouse.
