East Texas Baptist’s search for a new head coach for the women’s basketball team is over as Edsel Hamilton IV is ready to get to work for the Tigers. Hamilton spent the last eight years at Baylor, two of which were as a grad assistant and then six as Director of Basketball Operations for the Lady Bears. Hamilton worked closely with a Baylor team that experienced a lot of success. The Lady Bears won the 2012 national championship and in his time there, they made two final four appearances, made it to the elite eight five times and the sweet 16 seven times. – Nathan Hague, News-Journal.
