Sources Give College AD Interview Schedule for Athletic Director Search

Sources tell College AD, University of Hawaii Hilo began conducting short 20-minute phone interviews of all applicants on the short list yesterday. Based on those interviews, they will select semi-finalists with whom the University will conduct in-depth 45-minute Skype interviews later this month. From there, 3-5 finalists for the position will be selected to bring to campus for an on-site interview. Remaining initial phone interviews will be conducted Thursday and Friday of this week.



Former Vulcan Baseball Coach Joey Estrella assumed the position of interim athletic director at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo on January 1, 2015. Estrella replaced Tim Moore, whose appointment as interim athletic director ended on December 31, 2014. The new permanent athletic director will succeed Dexter Irvin, who resigned at the end of 2013.
