The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga has named Florida assistant Matt McCall as its new head men’s basketball coach. McCall, 33, was an assistant at Florida Atlantic from 2008-11 before joining Billy Donovan’s staff at Florida. In his fourth seasons there, the Gators reached at least the Elite Eight three times and the Final Four in 2014. McCall will replace Will Wade, who took the open position at VCU.
