Carlene Mitchell could not survive a 2-27 season and today UCSB announced that she is out as the women’s basketball coach. Mitchell went just 42-83 in her four seasons with the Gauchos and they finished in last in the Big West Conference this year. They were the only team not to qualify for the conference tournament.
