This past weekend, the Villanova women’s rowing team hired a new assistant coach for the 2017-18 season. Nancy Olewnik, a former member of the Villanova rowing team from 2002-2006, rejoins the program to give back as a coach. During her time at Villanova, she competed with the Vesper Boating Club in their National Team Development camp and won the 8+ at the Canadian Henley in 2004. In 2006, she competed with her Villanova teammates in the Women’s Royal Henley Regatta and won the 4+ event at the Reading Regatta in England to conclude her rowing career as a student. Read More.
