The Robert Morris men’s basketball team was scheduled to play its entire 2017-18 home schedule at PPG Paints Arena while its future home — UPMC Events Center — is under construction. But Sidney Crosby, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson and others might change the Colonials’ plans. Robert Morris athletic director Craig Coleman is not optimistic he will be able to schedule all of the Colonials’ home games next season at PPG Paints Arena. The school initially planned to relocate the men’s basketball team to the venue after announcing intentions to knock down its old arena, Sewall Center, and build a new one. The school has to work around 41 Penguins games and a slew of concerts slated for PPG Paints Arena, and is working with the Northeast Conference and AEG Facilities to see how many games are feasible.  – OMARI SANKOFA II, Read More
