UC San Diego has named Tod Bannister, an experienced fund-raiser, as associate athletics director for corporate partnerships and development. Bannister generated over $3.2 million in annual contributions and assisted with fundraising efforts for the $28 million Fertitta Football Complex at University of Nevada Las Vegas, UCSD said Thursday. He was at UNLV in 2014-17, first as director of sponsorships and Development for the Rebels’ Alumni Association, before being promoted to associate athletics director.
