Mississippi State is better than Scott Stricklin found it. That’s the mark of a good athletic director, and Stricklin pulled it off during his six years in Starkville. He’s now expected to become the next athletic director at Florida. There were the capital projects – a $75 million renovation of Davis Wade Stadium that completely changed the place and made it one of the more difficult venues to play in (and hear yourself talk) within the Southeastern Conference.
